I have told my kids who live in Seattle to be prepared...however my second oldest son is now working at Harborview hospital as a physical therapist and beyond and is on the Seattle emergency team for a quake. When the Q happens he goes into action. I am so proud to have kids like this, but it really does worry me at the same time. Look at NYC. Rescue workers and police etal died in the destruction. If something big hits Seattle I will be in a state of shock until I can hear from my son.....Thats my take....Some folks HAVE to stay....it is their job and their civic duty.........ah well...
