I think this interest in the contest may have uped the hit count... Or else we're just drawing more attention now days.

We're at 99,000 and I'd say 4-5 days from now is the time - that would put it at...Sept 1st - can I change from my original guess? - say even 7pm?

But ... the servers will be moving this week.... which may affect the timing - we will be keeping earthwaves.org as I got that taken care of - at some point I will have to shut down the board here and move it.

I'm planing on Thursday as the day to move the site - so thursday/friday we'll be changing the dns over and we'll have a new IP address. I may also have to make a number of changes to the script that writes the board (directory entries and such) and test it at the new site.

I will try to stop the count and restart it on the new site after testing has been done...

I had written a program so I could watch to see who the 100,000th visitor was but I don't think I can run it on the new server...Earthlink may not give me that kind of control. we'll see.
