Bay Area Data

Hi All. Things are starting to look interesting with the USGS data for the Bay Area. There has been a large increase in creep the Freemont Site. This is located at the southern end of the Hayward fault. There is now an indication of tilt at the Berkeley-E site. Still no indication of dilational strain though.

In the past when ever this has happened more often as not there would be a moderate quake north of the Bay Area. Most of the time it was in and around the Eureka area. However this also occurred a little bit before the Yountville quake. Not sure if there is a connection here, or even if there is a connection that can be made. As much as I hate doing this I’m just going to sit back and watch and see what happens. Take Care…Don in creepy town
