I've been thinking about this one for a couple days. This was a new headache that was unlike any previous one. It lasted three days and was very painful on the first two days (Thursday through Saturday); intense pain in the forehead that became unbearable when I coughed (I took lots of cough drops to avoid this). It was accompanied by a sore throat, so at first I thought I might be getting the flu. This would be odd, considering my lack of contact with people. That would have meant that I got the virus from money, door handles, or food. Today, Sunday, I feel fine. I did cut a hunk of flesh from my thumb while cutting a bialy on Friday morning.

The odd location of this headache and it's intensity caused me to think that it was either going to be big, close, or in a new location that hasn't had a big one in a while. At first I considered the northern portion of the Pacific Ocean, but scratched that after I remembered that Turkey quakes appear to generate pain from that direction. Later, I came upon this thought: Since this pain is in the front of my brain, the cognitive part, perhaps this will be in someplace that has great meaning to me. Three places came to mind. One was the Mediterranean, especially Greece, due to my affection for Greek mythology and the Greek gods. The second area, was off the west coast of South America, especially Peru, because a girl I once was close to went back there after her brother died in an accident here.
The third area was in the Midwest. That is where I am from and is close to the New Madrid zone. I also initially considered northern Europe, but what are the odds?

So here is what I finally decided: 6.8 or greater within four days for off the west coast of South America or Central America (remember that dream awhile back), off the east coast of Kamchatka or the Kuril Islands, or the Mediterranean area, especially the area between Greece and Egypt, Italy and Turkey.
