Not sure what to think about this 7.0 in the New Britain region, P.N.G. Kinda small for one the the 90 minute TL PRs, but a 7.0 must have a PR, so I guess we have a match and it was followed by a 6.1, indicating more stress having to be relieved. But this was 8 hours after the mainshock and USGS isn't showing any other aftershocks in between the two quakes. Makes me wonder, could both of these quakes be foreshocks to a much larger EQ?

Nay, haven't seen that before. Still...might explain the two headaches two days running. One for the 7.0 and one for the ? Would not surprise me.

Isaiah wrote of an earthquake we would not forget had it ever occurred in history. He said; "Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire."

Seems to me that all the signs given to go with this quake are in evidence today. First, GUAGUA PICHINCHA's major eruption. Had to be a "great noise." Then there's Lenny and at CAT5, that's got to be "storm and tempest. Then tonight, there is the meteor shower which they are saying should be the best in decades and could be seen as the "flame of devouring fire."

And with the way I was feeling for the last two days and now feeling good, who knows...

Think we all should be very careful now and it wouldn't hurt one bit to have a long talk with our creator. Maybe if enough of us catch His ear, He'll forget these could be the days for that quake.
