IMAGERY. AVIATION MODEL UPPER-AIR DATA AND UPPER AIR WIND DATA FROM
INSTITUTO GEOFISICO.

ERUPTION DETAILS: CONTINUOUS ASH EMISSIONS

DETAILS OF ASH: GOES-8 SATELLITE IMAGERY THROUGH 1615 UTC SHOWS A
LARGE PLUME OF ASH EMANATING FROM TUNGURAHUA. THE PLUME EXTENDING
187KM (101NMI) FROM THE SUMMIT IS BOUNDED BY -1.5S 78.4W -.6S 78.5W
-.4S 79.7W AND -1.1S 79.5W119. ASH ESTIMATED TO FL300 IS MOVING
TOWARD THE NORTHWEST.
