Lake Elizabeth is worrisome because it is essentially almost on top of the San Andreas. A few years ago, my daughter's scout troop was there and smelled sulphur in one inlet. All last year, as massive contruction was going on in Castaic, the same smell was pervasive. will fletcher told me one day last spring that the smell at Burger King in Castaic was so bad that he asked the manager and the guy said that it had been that way for days. Now in Valencia we have been smelling it. Nothing has occurred around here, but there seems to be no explanation. There have been some microquakes on the San Andreas this week and that cannot be releasing any energy, only underscoring the massive build-up. Keep watching Steven, I think you are right to be concerned. Beth
