Hi All,

I just got back and though tremendously tired am very pleased to tell she's all mine.

When I left for the court this afternoon I had the most horrible chest pains and I thought, Oh God, what if I don't make it, what's going to happen to this girl. Then little by little I calmed myself down and reminded myself of all the prayers that were being said on my behalf and that of a wonderful young lady and eventually the pain faded.

The security guards were very nice and said something about being sure I didn't carry a firearm and I told them, if you had any idea of the way I drive, then you'd hate to see me with a firearm. Actually, that is a true joke. I drive like an expert most of the time and I can make a target with a gun with little difficulty at all. But I hate those things. They are heavy and make all kinds of noise.

For now the only noises I want to hear are the sounds earthquake faults make as they are grinding away ever so slowly until all that elastic strain has pulled as far as it can go and in a moments notice, the earthquake comes. Fortunately for most here they seldom ever arrive unexpectedly. To bad more people don't know about this. Maybe one day someone will write a book about it. Maybe me.

I wish to say Thank You sincerely for all of your prayers and well wishes. Though you may not be in Petaluma, in the Village of Life, you are all with me and for that I am truly greatful.

Graciously.....Pat Thompson
