Hi Luc, Yes, dogs are dogs. And cats are cats. But it has been proven that animals do act strange before quakes. Not just dogs or cats. Fish, birds, horses, even ants. My own cat, Kitty Patra, will head to the outdoors and has been known to tear up anyone trying to remove her from her hiding spot to bring her back in. My dog gets extremely jumpy, barking at nothing. But especially with my cat I have documented her reaction both before and after every feelable quake since 1993 when we got her. Animals acting up before quakes is documented around the world. Animals are but just one way of telling us something is amiss. I have to look to my animals to know when a quake is coming (or my own ears) because God has not chosen me as he has Diane to alert us. And this is why I look to Diane to help me know. But I sure do hope you are wrong about the 11th. :) Being a holiday most will hopefully be at home during that time. Take care, Lucinda
