According to news sources, a 6.9 magnitude EQ just struck off the coast of eastern Taiwan @ 17:52:59(Tues. AM).

However, USGS has it at 6.1, preceded by a 4.7 that was not there on the list earlier this AM when I checked. Hmmmm...........

Bob - Does this fit with you prediction of a subduction earthquake from your previous messages?
