It is with the utmost discipline that I am not throwing this machine out the window and going fishing forever!!!

Printed out you message and set in to trying. Get edit, preferences, Mail and Groups and that's as far as I got. No mail server listing, no ourgoing mail smtp sever. Tried the address you gave and got not found. Went to the next address and got totally confused.

Decided to turn everything off and reboot anew, but this did not solve the e-mail problem. I get the mail, but cannot send responses. I will call Mindspring when I get off and see what they have to say for themselves. They seemed to solve the connecting and disconnecting problem just fine, but several days later I couldn't send mail. Thought they had the problem and would fix, but not so.

As for the modem, I have no idea what ISA or PCI are. All I know is that I have a 28,000bps data/14,400bps fax modem and a NEC Ready 7022 computer. Guess, we'll just have to set up a time for you to come to the rescue.
