Myself, I was living in El Monte at that time and had just turned off my alarm clock to get up and get ready for work when the Sylmar quake hit.

A lady that I work with was *in* Olive View as a patient.

I haven't heard anything lately, but after Northridge, the Simi Valley area was being talked about quite a bit as being ripe for a major quake.
