We felt it very strongly in Newport Beach. It seemed to go on for about 20 seconds, and it was strong rolling, feeling north to south. The water in the pool splashed out for a good five minutes afterwards, and there were lights flashing from the direction of the beach for a couple of minutes afterwards.
There was an aftershock felt here about fifteen minutes later.
Whew - that one got MY attention! First we've felt since moving to this house 1 1/2 years ago.
