Hi All,

Today there is going to be a new element in earthquake prediction that this message board I hope will enjoy very much. I have formed a team of people, two in seismology and myself and one other at this time. We have selected a location in Northern California as a "site specific" area which we believe in the future is going to produce an earthquake of some size.

Currently there is little activity and we are monitoring it and will follow the progress by watching what the scientific community has afforded, in strain meters, creep meters, GPS and will include lunar and tidal data and anything of a precursory nature to make what we hope will be one of the finest earthquake predictions on record.

As many of us are aware those of seismology often read this message board and I am herewith issuing a challenge to any of them who may wish to participate as a group with one spokesperson to issue their own prediction for this particular area. I would recommend to them that they use an outside mailbox and whatever name they chose to use as a poster and go for the goal. This is offered as a protection element to them as we all know there is some risk associated with those in the science community issuing public predictions.

I hope the invited guests will receive a warm welcome from this message board as it stands on its own in excellence from past predictions and its members have always made room for newcomers.
