Normally, I don't remember my dreams, but this one kinda woke me up and caused me to wonder about it. It may have been triggered by yesterday's account of two Linwood Sheriffs rescuing a man, on fire, from his burning house.

I was sitting next to a man who had been burned over much of his body and his arms, hands and face showed the scares. He was missing the little fingers from both hands due to the fire. For some reason, I reached out and laid my hand on his forearm. This action caused the man to tear up and say; "No one ever wants to touch me now. I look so bad. I scare everyone."

A voice behind me said; "Ever wonder why you don't see any burned victims looking as bad as he does in public? Let me tell you a secret."

"Let me," said the scarred man, composing himself, "they take us all. With a little make up, it's easy to make us look reptilian. They plan to convince the world that there were reptilian aliens who took the people away."

This is where I woke with ringing in both ears. It was just before seven and still dark enough in my room to fall back to sleep, but I decided I didn't want to risk going back into that dream and Chip should have his shot on time given his need over the last two days.

Wierd, wasn't it?
