Anyway, another scortcher here in Morgan Hill, and Gilroy was over 101 degrees today! There were times the birds were no where in sight, and the ones that normally sit and chatter all in the late afternoon, just sat and not even a peep!!

I called a friend of mine up and told here that Jim Berkland has predicted up to a 6.0 here in No.l Ca. and based on signals, the Calistoga Geyser, etc. She said this morning, the birds in here aviary were screeching their heads off, but would watch them closer this evening. And go get more new batteries, water,etc. She told me she went to Hollister today, and she did not like the feeling she got while going there and coming back. Tension and apprehension is what she felt. She also pointed out, that Jim's window up to October 3, which is still the pull of that Full Moon, that on Oct. 3 is the Last Baseball Game at the Stick. How ironic, Huh?

I went and stocked up on water again, and double-checked everything, so I guess I'm ready if and when it comes. However, I personally don't think its 'If", I think its going to happen and shake from SJB all the way up or rip all the way down.

Dogs are in a hyper-alert state and jumpy, and bark at everything. Cricket by my front door finally shut-up, he/she chirped for over 2 hours! Quiet.
