Hi Pat, I didn't realize that the quake for Rogers Creek happened on a thrust fault. Seems the past several weeks an increase in 4+ quakes in CA. Lots of shifting going on & I believe it is all connected. Komandorsky Islands now giving off a 6+ and many, many 4+, and some 5's. A very interesting article in yesterdays Mercury News regarding old AT&T telephone cables on the Pacific Ocean floor. The cables are very old & instead of repairing them they gave them to geologists & other scientists to use in exploring deep ocean quakes. The cables run from CA to Hawaii. From what the article said they have put in seismometer and other eq data gathering equipment at about 17,000 feet on the ocean floor. Not only will it enable them to take leaps in studying deep ocean quakes it will enable them to further understand the ever changing infrastructure of the inner earth, underground nuclear explosions, and even whale migration. This is very exciting & I cannot wait to see information begin to come out! I've still got this horrible headache & now I wonder since you said your friend at Mammoth is having ear ringing. Mammoth seems to be a headache point for me. I've also had slight ear ringing but nothing significant. Take care, Lucinda
