Don's Central California forecast for 10 August - grade A- (so far)
Posted by Lowell on August 10, 2001 at 11:36:53:

About an hour ago, an earthquake of Ml 3.3 occurred in the San Juan
Bautista, CA area. Although this area is quite active seismically
in the Ml2-3 range, earthquakes of ML>=3 are not common. During the
year 2001 there have been two earthquakes larger than today's
in the region 37.3N - 36.7N, 122.1W - 121.4W. These were a Ml 3.8
on Feb 11, 2001 and a Ml 3.5 on April 12, 2001. So this is the largest
event in the region containing both today's epicenter and Don's
predicted epicenter in more than 4 months. The event does, however,
lie outside Don's given 40 km radius - it is 59 km from his predicted
epicenter.
This earthquake was followed several minutes later by a Ml 1.8 NE
of San Martin (directly to the east of Don's predicted epicenter and
45 km off) and preceded by a event of Ml 1.8 SE of Pacifica this
morning (NW of Don's epicenter and 53 km away). These three events
are forming a Mogi Donut at about 50 km with Don's epicenter at the
Center.
By the way, Don had stated that the event should occur on 10 August,
so all his parameters for this uncommon event are correct except
for the distance. Score another A- for Don. Congrats!!!

Hi All. The old tummy has been acting up again which is sort of strange has
I haven't had my usual raw onion and garlic sandwich today. So for this

I have been eating.
