Hi Lowell,

There's a lot more Don didn't say in his post above. He and I did a lot of research regarding the disposal of hazardous waste materials, which in the end caused a considerable number of earthquakes, a lot of rattled nerves of the local residents and the powerful convictions of one geologist named Evans who rallied for the locals, brought them together and faught proudly until the Army was forced to shut down their waste disposal by fluid injection.

What you don't see on the surface of the written issues are that the waste that was pumped into these storage compartments, which were not sealed at the bottom leaked out into the rocks below and in time went somewhere else. A man I contacted at the Dept of the Army said they have no idea what happened to this waste that went "elsewhere." This was nerve gas and some type of rocket fuel. But the end was interesting in that it took them 15 years before they capped off the storage tanks. That was long after the area had closed down and I have no idea why it took them so long. This to me has a very strange conclusion.

Yes indeed, Don can ferret out just about anything. He's absolutely one of the finest researchers around. If its out there, believe me, he'll find it, if its not out there it will just take him a little longer.
