Hi Lowell,

I enjoyed reading your thoughts on this subject. Another thing I have noticed is that in the last two years we haven't seen any Gordon Michael Scallion types issuing scary predictions in the press of a big CA quake. To often nothing happened and I have a hunch the press got tired of running fruitless stories. They lost their mass appeal.

I do agree with the thought process that behind the scenes the quiet studies that are being done are all part and parcel of the successful results for the future. It is painstaking work that needs precision and no interruptions in the process.

I was telling Don earlier I was starting to feel like a "no hitter" in baseball. This timing thing has finally gotten the better of me. Like I told him, if I post them when I hear them, the window is to long, but if they arrive early and I don't post, then I miss them. There has got to be a better way to do this, but for right now it eludes me. I have no idea why some quakes arrive within hours and yet others much later. I need to explore the process more carefully. Get out my microscope and make things appear smaller and then if I can see it in a nutshell, maybe I'll have a better understanding of how it works. LOL

Speaking of which, I was just taking a breather from putting up the next edition of the "zone", so I better get back to work.

Petra
