Boy is this an interesting concept - and goes well to verify the apparently chaotic nature of earthquakes.

I can't help but think there is an effect on surrounding areas but to expand that to such a degree is almost unimaginable. It does make some sense though if there are waves that move at 1km a day. I think it goes back to those physics courses I haven't taken.....soon....
