Finally, after two weeks, the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology (MBMG)
has updated their web site and we can check to see if Don's prediction
of an event near Cour d'Lene was near or on the mark.
It's been a while, but to bring you up to date, Don's prediction (#8023
below - posted June 14) was:

Hi All. The old tummy is rumbling tonight so I listened to it to see if it
was trying to tell me something. Getting mixed signals. Not sure if its
something I ate, or something I\222m going to eat. Mainly my words.

Looking for a 2.0Md to a 3.0Md at 47.257N/116.281W in the Coeur d'Alene
area, ID on 06/20/2001. Radius 40K starting on 06/18/2001 through 06/23/2001.
Take Care...Don in creepy town.

MBMG is no reporting an earthquake of Ml 1.4 at 35 km distance from
Don's projected epicenter which occurred on June 20. Their parameters
are:

01/06/20 04:13:35 47.50N 115.99W 7.8 1.4 C near Wallace, ID

SEE:
http://quake.wr.usgs.gov/cgi-bin/quake/mbmgsun.mtech.edu/name=quake/border=1

They are also showing a Ml 2.2 nearby on June 17.

This prediction was correct in all details but overestimated the
magnitude of the event. Probably should give an A- to it. Another
chalk mark on the wall, Don. Keep eating HAGIS and we'll be waiting
for more gut rumblings.
