Ah! This sounds remarkably like an ancient Zen koan I have heard a number of times....My Zen reading is very intense....Love koans. After a bit they are easy...or was that hard...perhaps they do not exist! Yours is interesting.
FYI I actually awakened the Kundalini on my own back in 1985. No mentor. No guru. No nada. It was both enlightenment and disaster. Don't ask!
