I've also ordered two references as well (and also recently visited the link you have posted below).

As previously mentioned, my approach is to divide the effort into two areas which ideally should be presented at once and together. However, revealing the evidence for the linkage is much quicker to do since the other aspects of filling in a "science gap" requires a little more work.

By focusing initially to just showing the (compelling) linkage alone and pointing to the science gap without addressing it will expedite things. BTW, the science gap part of it is being (and has already been) addressed within it's own context by others.

I expect this first part can be completed rapidly....
