Of course, Penny. Despite what some may think, I am NOT convinced that prediction is IMpossible. I just feel we have yet to successfully do so with any meaning. The only way to change that is to explore new ideas.

For example, the recent mention of TEC as a possible quake precursor caught my attention and I've been reading a few papers here and there.

Some may consider skepticism as a pejorative term. I'd rather think of it as a tool for keeping myself from believing in unicorns and faeries! Although, some artists renditions of faeries are pretty nice!!! ooh-la-la ;)
