Proposed Projects For Roger (and anyone else interested)– November 30, 2012

Hi Roger,

This is a new indirect reference URL for your Web page and directory.

http://www.freewebz.com/eq-forecasting/RH.html

http://www.freewebz.com/eq-forecasting/rh.html or any combination of upper and lower case letters will also work. Freewebz.com doesn’t seem to care.

Indirect URLs like that one are being used with my Newsgroup and private bulletin board postings and E-mail. They will redirect people to the actual Web page in just a few seconds.

One of the main reason for using indirect URLs is to keep robot Internet search engines from getting the direct addresses and feeding them to spam lists. That effort is probably not completely successful. But I believe that it does help to some extent. And that can be especially important for preventing Denial of Service attacks on a Web site.

THE EFFECTS OF UNDERGROUND NUCLEAR TESTS ON EARTHQUAKE OCCURRENCE TIMES

There is a new Web page with a URL on your RH.html Web page now that is for storing information regarding that nuclear tests project we worked on a short time ago.

Do you have any information ready to be stored there regarding that project?

Everything doesn’t have to be done all at once. We can just gradually add information to the Web page.

Also, other people can contribute information for that Web page if they wish with the exception of several former board posters. I mentioned one of them in an earlier post. Just send the information to Roger or me through the E-mail addresses listed on the RH.html Web page.

EARTHQUAKE FORECASTING DATA CIRCULATION PROJECT

As I have repeatedly stated, some type of communications resource needs to be developed so that earthquake researchers around the world can more effectively share their earthquake forecasting data with one another. And that includes Ear Tone data. My data indicate to me that Ear Tones are usually connected with earthquake fault zone activities. And perhaps 1 person in 1000 around the world can hear them. So, Ear Tones represent a major potential source of earthquake forecasting data.

If anyone has any recommendations for what type of communications resource might work for collecting and circulating earthquake forecasting data then he, she, or they can post a response note here or send me an E-mail with their recommendations.

These are personal opinions.
