See the SCEC link below and go to California quakes. California has been quite active with mostly tiny quakes, as Penny has been pointing out. It seems more active in the last few days than before, especially southern California. The new USGS map only shows M2.5 and above with the defaults. We've been casually noticing California seeming to turn on and off over the last decade and no one has an explanation on why that should be (whether it is detection of tiny quakes or real for example).
