Answer is within your question. Days accumulated as Year and Years accumulated as millions of years. I am worrying about daily such changes of earth which leads to part of "oscillatory true polar wander". (without drops there is no ocean..!). Since our individual life span was very short, we need to search day-to-day affair which leads into disaster.
