Hi Roger,

I am going to suggest that you might want to start reading your responses over several times before posting them here.

Why would anyone suggest that TEC records or any types of records were simply indicating that an earthquake was about to occur somewhere on the planet within 14 days?

From what I have seen, TEC measurements point to specific locations. And those are then the areas to watch for an earthquake.

I stated in an earlier post that the forecast I received did contain a specific location.

Did I misread your post? Or are you deliberately trying to “blur” things by suggesting that TEC measurements do not point to specific locations?

Finally, this is not some relatively meaningless topic such as whether or not there was ever water on Mars. That is an interesting subject that scientists and other can debate. But in my opinion it has little relevance for whether or not people will live or die.

In contrast, the subject of whether or not earthquakes can be predicted is essential to saving lives. And people need to be careful about not taking it lightly.

Finally, I am gradually adding code to my Etdprog.exe earthquake forecasting program so that it incorporates the features of that EPmap program that was intended to let people compare a variety of forecasting data etc. with actual earthquake data and with sun, moon, ocean tide, and Solid Earth Tide data. Your date processing code was converted to Perl. And it has been expanded so that it generates AM and PM types of data etc. instead of just 24 hour clock type data.

When that code merging effort gets completed the expanded Etdprog.exe program will be made available for general public use. And it should then be possible to start adding new routines to it to expand its capabilities even further.

These are personal opinions.
