Hi Roger,

Getting funding would probably not be a problem. For example, some rock group could have a concert to generate some funds.

The U.S. might actually be interested in providing some funds for the effort as it would help make it possible for U.S. scientists to start telling the truth about global warming etc. without getting torn apart by House and Senate members who are "working for" oil companies. And, U.S. Policy Makers were recently told about the importance of establishing such a foundation.

Something related to my telling them that might have actually already made it into the news. There was a news story that looks like it had something to do with my report.

The problem is with my finding enough free time to get things moving. The first step in the formal legal effort to get something going is already done. But this would be an enormous undertaking. I could not run such a foundation myself and still do any earthquake work etc.

Some 30,000 to 50,000 people reportedly die every day around the world from hunger and disease. And one of the main reasons for this is the fact that governments around the world including the U.S. really don't have a general plan that they can follow for making improvements. When I am talking in person with someone and want to prove that world governments don't have any sense of direction I simply point out to that person that governments including the U.S. often take my advice on even very important matters. I do give them excellent advice for free. But scientists that they themselves have working for them should be giving them that type of advice. They shouldn't have to rely on people outside the government to tell them in which direction they need to be moving regarding important projects. This proposed foundation is a perfect example of that. It should have been created a long time ago.

These are personal opinions.
