The advantage of hurricanes over quakes is that you know it's coming several days in advance.

Anyone who does not prepare or evacuate as necessary to protect their well being, regardless of orders or suggestions from TPTB, are idiots and pretty much get what they deserve, ESPECIALLY after the lesson of Katrina.

It's like the doofus's that rebuild over and over and over on hills that burn and/or slide.
