Re: Tidal triggering

Hi Pavel,

My own earthquake forecasting program is based on the observations (or theories – if necessary) that:

1. Earthquakes are often being triggered by specific forces related to the gravitational pulls of the sun and the moon.

2. The EM Signals that I work with, Ear Tones would be one example, are also being generated by earthquake fault zones when they are responding to those same forces before the earthquake occurs.

The actual working theory for the triggering model proposes that the following forces could be the most important and easy to measure:

1. The forces that do the most earthquake triggering are associated with the sun and moon gravities when they combine to produce a certain type of bending, stretching, or compression of the Earth’s crust.

2. The second most important triggering forces are ones associated with the moon gravity acting alone. The sun gravity is not important at that time.

3. The sun gravity acting alone does not appear to be especially important to earthquake triggering.

To see those relationships, the right equations need to be used for combining the sun and moon gravity etc. Amit Dave appears to be on the right track. I have not seen any other people who are using those types of equations. I have several copyrighted papers that discuss them. And if people who work in this field would like to develop computer programs for generating more advanced equations I would consider working with them.

The line peaks on my chart on the right side of that chart that I posted a link to were generated using those equations. And they do appear to me to be good matches with your own data. So, that by itself would probably be an indicator that my equations have some validity.

Some of my other data look a lot more impressive than that chart.
