Today's post is mainstream, aside from the discrepancy that most scientists consider too MUCH, rather than too little, heat is coming to easily fit theories of composition and Earth history.

But the original post said the main point of the book was documenting a preference for a "ratcheting" theory of why the plates move, which is more outre.
