Waves of heat from annual variations traveling into the Earth? As Chris says, actually, there's some heat coming OUT of the Earth, and the thermal conductivity of rocks is very low, so the temperature boundary conditions at the surface only have an effect on very long time scales.

If the theory has ANY semblance to that EQF described, I wouldn't read past the table of contents.
