There is a little swarm just east of Barstow (for the non-Californians, in the Mojave desert in southeast California). I'm not quite sure where this is compared to 1992 Landers north end of rupture and 1999 Hector Mine. But would not be too amazing if there was another 7+ in the next decades.

HD has an internship in Barstow tracking desert tortoises last Sept-Dec. She liked the tracking but much prefers her internship she has this summer working with Piping Plover on a barrier island in the northeast USA. We visited a week ago and is a really beautiful beach and island.
