As I said in the report, this is part of a major research project that is developing fairly rapidly. And the information in that report and the one that I posted to the Newsgroups was intended to as quickly as possible provide researches and disaster mitigation groups around the world with enough information to enable them to start watching for an earthquake.

For the next step I need to circulate somewhat similar information to those groups by E-mail. That will probably get done some time late today.

Then I am planning to summarize things here and make the information a little more readable.

Because expected earthquakes can occur at any time after these EM Signals are detected it is important to get the necessary information sent to international forecasters and disaster mitigation groups as quickly as possible. Then when that is done some time can be devoted to discussing the information in more understandable terms.

Remember, the computer programs that Roger and I am working on are intended to make this easy. We are trying to find a format that the precursor data can be presented with a format that is easy to understand along with more detailed explanation information for researchers who are interested.

Remember also as I have stated, one part of this fairly broad effort is being discussed with high level U.S. policy makers. They were told late last year to expect a lengthy report from me before too long regarding the subject matter. And I am having to spend a lot of time on that particular effort. This latest expected earthquake has been just another in a series of interruptions for that U.S. project.
