Brian (or anyone), I think it fair game that someone compile quotes from EQF on all the different things he/she has posted in the last couple of months on his/her top secret inventions or hypothesis in various other fields. For example, I think EQF posted that he/she thought that super psychics could team up and block other psychics (or something like that) in the threads related to someone "predicting" M8 and 9 quakes in Virginia.

Directed at those who read this page occassionally, not EQF, who is a lost cause. Not all actual earth scientists think it will be impossible to do short term predictions of earthquakes. But, almost all of them think it will be extremely difficult, and that no consistent short term predictions have been done to date. There have been none on this page in the last decade. As I posted recently, the most impressive single prediction was by "Tim" in 2004 for the Parkfield M6, but the actual prediction seems to be missing from the archives. Tim posted that this was purely psychic. EQF has never issued a specific prediction that I can recall, and the vague predictions for somewhere in the world or even a particular longitude are more or less impossible to evaluate, but there certainly seems to be nothing there.

Chris
