At airport headed back to heartland. Wednesday was much better: the talks in my special session were good, and there was good traffic at the posters. But, overall for the 4 days I was at the meeting I did not absorb very much information. That has been a problem for me the last few years. I guess I still absorb some information by reading papers, but I absorb better by discussing with the few others who really enjoy "brainstorming", and also still absorb well my own interpretations.

don't worry that I was mis-using taxpayer $ to not have learned more: I paid everything for this meeting out-of-pocket.
