M7.3 eastern Turkey

There was just a M7.3 oblique thrust quake in Eastern Turkey, near Lake Van and the City of Van. I don't know easter Turkey, but if the city (1/3 million) is in hanging-wall above the fault, given what construction is likely to be in that part of the world, I would expect it to be bad. CNN reports collapses in a village.
