Interesting; I was wondering how a creeping fault could have earthquakes near M7s (1868(?)). You just explained it; I had not heard that. But, be careful that the depths are good; the link says this one is 8.2 km or 5.1 miles. The problem with 6 miles is that is 10 km and sometimes quake location programs assign the quakes to 10 km. Maybe for Berkeley the network is so good that they don't do that; I don't know.
