HTML question for Canie – October 16, 2011

Hi Canie,

There have been no major earthquakes lately. I myself am not expecting any at the present moment though there was one strong EM Signals that was detected at:

Anyway, things are quiet on the EarthWaves bulletin board at the present time. And, since I am getting that earthquake research Web site running this might be a good time for an HTML question if you have time to answer it.

Is there a way to list a base address such as a domain address at the top of an HTML Web page so that it can then be used later on the page?

With the new Web site I am planning to start storing copies of some Web pages on multiple domains. And it would be easier to store the domain name at the top of those Web pages for use later on the page than to have to change the domain name in each URL on the page.

If your collection of cats is keeping you busy at the moment, don’t worry about the HTML question.
