This information has been posted here to see if anyone would like to comment on that proposed disaster warning and response system before the report is submitted to the United Nations, FEMA, and international disaster mitigation groups etc.

That proposal was developed quite a few years ago. And an abbreviated version of it was sent to U.S. government personnel earlier this year.

Considering how easy it would be to develop such a program it is both surprising and tragic that the program has never been created. Many lives and quite a bit of disaster response money might have been saved over the years.

Developing those types of CGI (Internet Web site based) computer program is the type of work that is scheduled to take place at the new Earthquake Research Web site that should be up and running some time later this week. The older version of the site can still be accessed from that new disaster system Web page.
