News reports are now stating that the fatalities number for that earthquake is at 75 and rising.

It apparently occurred in one of the less densely populated areas of India. And that has helped keep the fatalities numbers down. But it is also a part of the country where it can be more difficult for rescue workers to work efficiently.

They are also stating that none of India’s 20 nuclear power plants was affected by the earthquake.
