UPDATE plus Argentina Earthquake – Posted by EQF on September 2, 2011

The following chart shows the latest Data.html Web page Chart A earthquake forecasting chart plus data lines for the especially strong EM Signal detected on August 31, 2011 and a powerful Argentina earthquake.

2011/09/02 13:47:11 28.42S 63.14W 93 6.7 Argentina Area
NEIS Data

The similar line peak patterns on the EM Signal and earthquake lines and some other data I have seen indicate to me that the probability is fairly high that that approaching earthquake was responsible for that strong EM Signals.

In theory the line peaks on the earthquake line should be at 63 W where the earthquake occurred. However, my computer programs match earthquake lines like that with the records for more than 70,000 past earthquakes in my database file. And the equations in the programs concluded that the earthquake was a better match for ones that occurred in the past farther west, as can be seen on the chart.

The program does the same thing with the EM Signals. And so, that August 31 signal appears to have actually been a good indicator that the earthquake was approaching although it pointed to the wrong longitudes.

The earthquake also occurred within the expected 5 day time window. That doesn’t always happen. And its magnitude was reasonable match for the strength of the EM Signal and an earthquake occurring in that area.

I have not yet read any news reports discussing the earthquake and don’t know if there was any damage, injuries, or fatalities.

These are personal opinions.
