Fabulous. I have been to Pt. Sal, and, of course, now live near the great Dismembered Ophiolites in the Klamath Mountains. I always loved that term. By the way, I remember that near Santa Barbara the poppies and the vineyards did well on soils from those ophiolites. One prof used to say that we were drinking the mantle in some of the red wines.
