Another Accurate EM Signal – July 18, 2011

The following earthquake recently occurred:

2011/07/16 00:26:14 33.79S 72.07W 23 6.0 Chile Area
NEIS Data

A fairly strong EM Signal was detected at the following time:

2011/07/15 11:45:00 UTC

And my data analyses indicate to me that there is a high probability that the signal was generated by events taking place in that fault zone before that Chile area earthquake.

I usually don’t attempt to forecast earthquakes based on individual signals unless there is some reason to believe that the signals are especially significant. So no warning or advisory related to that signal was circulated. And at the present time I don’t have my Web sites organized in a manner that individual signal times like that can be easily displayed there.

However, the evidence is strong that these signals are pointing the approach of a good percentage of our powerful earthquakes just as that signal did. And if governments and research groups around the world tried to make use of those types of signals they could probably detect the approach of many of their significant earthquakes.

As the old saying goes, “You can lead a horse to water. But you can’t make him drink.”

These are personal opinions.
