I got a smartphone a few months back - I hated it at first - I don't text..have it blocked on my phone.

It took about 2-3 weeks before I tarted liking it - and I think what really turned the corner for me was the web browser and being able to check sigalert.com for traffic issues - when you live and drive in LA it's imperative to know what the traffic is doing.

I do really like it now - probably can't tear me away from it - the web is available just about anywhere - I have one gmail email account that syncs with it - my calender is a google calender and it syncs with it - that's another selling feature for me - people ask me if I'm available a certain weekend to judge a show - I just check the calender and it's there and I can then add it -

I also have Verizon wireless - they truly ha ve the best network for access - or have for several years. Not many places it doesn't reach..

But it is wonderful to have it available..
