Roger, you are correct. Before throwing around kudos, I should have gone back and looked at Don's original prediction.

Your analogy, however, I find strained. I believe Don was predicting a very small eq in an area where such tremors are rare. (Someone said they occur with a frequency of one per year.) Cats walk down streets all the time, so one wouldn't expect that to be unusual. Elephant? Yes, if you live in Africa or Asia.

But you are right, Roger, the eq in France falls way outside Don's perameters.

Sorry Don. Can't win 'em all.
