The news this morning showed that the St Louis (Lambert)airport is closed indefinitely. I was the only one from our table of 10 to go outside and look around when the sirens went off. There was a rainbow to the east, and I looked to the west and southwest and there were sort of off puffy clouds but nothing ominous. The TVs were all tuned to sports so there was only a single one that gave a warning but it had like no information and there was no radar. One friend showed me radar on his small cell phone but all you could see, it was so small, was that there was a storm somewhere in the middle of the state (we are in the middle of the state). We are almost 180 km west of the airport, but it was the same storm.
