That said, the quakes in Nevada keep swarming. If one looks at the Google map, there does seem to be a feature of some sort that leads to the NE from these quakes to the area near Hawthorne where the last 4 plus quake happened. If one squints with the eye of faith...seems to be a geologic feature, perhaps more apparent than real. Have driven through this wild, beautiful area (to a geologist who likes rocks!) on several occasions on our way from Reno to Vegas, including a night spent in Tonopah. Very interesting region, and it DOES seems that the area is lively right now!
